Erica is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner dedicated to thoughtful, relationship-centered care that supports health and well-being across the lifespan. She began her nursing career in 2013 after earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Colorado Mesa University and has since built a diverse clinical background in medical, surgical, and cardiovascular intensive care, as well as preoperative and post-anesthesia care, forensic nursing, and home health. Her years at the bedside shaped her into a compassionate clinician and strong patient advocate with a deep understanding of the challenges patients face navigating healthcare systems.
Erica later earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Regis University and became board certified through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Her experience in family practice, palliative care, and hospice strengthened her commitment to individualized care that focuses on identifying root causes while promoting preventive care, long-term wellness, and quality of life. She has a special interest in women’s health, midlife transitions, preventive medicine, and personalized treatment plans. Erica is also a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner and Certified Abdominal Therapist, integrating complementary therapies alongside conventional medicine.
Her philosophy of care centers on prevention, education, collaboration, and shared decision-making. Through longer visits and open communication, Erica creates space for patients to feel heard, informed, and empowered in their healthcare journey. Her experience throughout the Vail Valley and neighboring communities allows her to guide patients with a strong understanding of the local healthcare landscape and resources.
Outside of practice, Erica enjoys biking, skiing, and spending time with her husband, six-year-old son, and dog. She is passionate about service work and volunteers biannually on joint replacement mission trips with Operation Walk Denver in Panama, Honduras, and Mexico. She values the balance of family, community, service, movement and connection to the mountain community she calls home.
