Dr. Justin Callison, PT, DPT, OCS
Justin is a residency-trained physical therapist and Orthopedic Clinical Specialist who specializes in helping active individuals and athletes return to high-level performance. He has advanced training in orthopedic care, complex knee rehabilitation, and concussion treatment, including exertion-based return-to-play protocols. He completed his orthopedic residency at Howard Head Sports Medicine.
He has a special interest in working with complex or previously unsuccessful knee rehab cases, helping patients bridge the gap between traditional rehab and high-level performance. His approach emphasizes objective strength and movement testing to guide progress and ensure patients return to activity stronger, more resilient, and confident.
Trusted by active individuals and athletes throughout the Vail Valley, Justin works with patients across skiing, running, and mountain sports to help them get back to what they love.
Outside the clinic, Justin is an avid outdoorsman and can often be found fly fishing, hunting, rafting, camping, or snowboarding throughout the Vail Valley and Roaring Fork Valley. He is also the founder of a nonprofit focused on helping individuals with disabilities access outdoor recreation and care. Fun fact: Justin is part of the first set of triplets born in the Roaring Fork Valley.
