Dr. Ted Weber, PT, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT

Ted followed his passion for endurance sports and earned a Master’s degree in Kinesiology from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, focusing his graduate studies on substrate utilization and lactate metabolism in runners. Following a stint rehabilitating collegiate and professional runners at Sports Medicine Institute, Ted earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Husson University in Bangor, ME, where he completed research on landing kinetics and kinematics and taught graduate level courses in exercise physiology, kinesiology and wellness management. Ted is a Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist and earned his post graduate Fellowship in Orthopedic Manual Therapy from Regis University. He served on the board of the Colorado American Physical Therapy Association and as the chair of the APTA CO Professional Development Committee. Ted loves helping individuals of all ages and abilities to achieve meaningful goals, whether that be reaching the podium at a ultramarathon or holding a newborn granddaughter. In an effort to extend and expand the impact of evidence informed strength, conditioning and wellness, Ted co-created the Thrive Forward Program--our small group fitness programming uses cutting edge, research backed evidence to help our clients stay strong, avoid chronic disease and live a long life filled with vitality.
